T3 is a complete knowledge management solution that leverages generative AI and is implemented over the iManage Work document and email management system. T3 provides law firms and corporate legal departments using iManage Work the ability to submit knowledge documents and bound volumes (also referred to as bibles), add metadata, classify and implement different publication cycles based on best practices.
Lexsoft’s T3 GenAI, powered by Microsoft OpenAI technology, delivers Copilot-like functionality and user experience to the KM function. This out-of-the-box, ready-to-deploy, and best practice-led solution marks a step change in KM capability, enabling law firms to simplify and automate critical processes, fully supported with visual and actionable data analytics. All this combined delivers Amazon-style multi-lingual search and filtering capability to users, alongside insightful analytics on user behavior to the KM departments.
In June 2025, Lexsoft announced Version 2 of their solution. The latest generation of T3 GenAI enhances traditional knowledge management by enabling a more integrated “knowledge research” approach. It connects a law firm's internal knowledge repositories with external legal content providers using natural language processing. Users can search across internal and external data sources without exposing client information or proprietary documents. T3 GenAI extracts and utilizes metadata to facilitate this research, translating internal taxonomies into formats compatible with external systems—ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
T3 is available as an on-premises system as well as a full SaaS solution. T3 SaaS is implemented in Microsoft Azure where high-level security processes, including recurrent ethical hacking and penetration tests, are routinely applied. T3, by design, never accesses the ‘content’ of the knowledge documents residing in iManage Work but keeps a copy of all the metadata applied to them. Additionally, this metadata is only accessible through the T3 API with an iManage user connection token. This means that organizations’ ‘knowledge’ never leaves its own secure environment.
Lexsoft is a spin-off from Tikit Spain, following the latter’s acquisition by British Telecom in 2015. The company’s operation dates back to 2005 as a subsidiary of British Tikit Group in Spain. They are a specialist software vendor and provider of business process solutions to the legal sector across Europe, United States and Latin America.
