Draftable Clean is a document metadata removal tool built for law firms that sanitizes hidden data from documents at the point of sending.

Metadata and hidden data removal Removes comments, tracked changes, author details, and revision history from documents before they leave the firm. Formatting is preserved so documents arrive looking exactly as intended.

Configurable cleaning profiles Firms can configure cleaning profiles that govern what metadata is removed, preserved, or replaced. Profiles can be imported, edited, and assigned based on team or workflow requirements.

Risk-based metadata review Assigns risk allocation to documents based on metadata found, and allows users to review and search metadata within the application before sending.

Point-of-send workflow integration Operates at the moment of sending with no additional steps or complex workflows required. A single confirmation completes the cleaning process, allowing lawyers to proceed without interruption.

Supported document types Processes Microsoft Word, PDF, ZIP files, password-protected files, and image formats including JPEG, TIFF, GIF, PNG, and BMP. Excel and PowerPoint support are listed as forthcoming.

Email and file management features Includes the ability to rename and reorder files, set default email subject lines and body text, add attachment lists to email bodies, and configure default cleaning profiles for internal versus external recipients within Outlook.

Firm-wide deployment options Supports deployment via executable and machine-wide MSI installers, InTune, Group Policy, Windows Registry, and Remote Desktop Services environments such as Citrix. Available for Windows as a desktop application and Microsoft Outlook add-in.
