Granular, user-level permission settings control what each client can see and access.

Client Intake and CRM
A built-in contact relationship management tool supports the full lead lifecycle. Capabilities include customizable intake forms that can be embedded on firm websites or sent directly to contacts, task and lead assignment by firm member, and client tracking from initial inquiry through conversion and post-matter follow-up.

Document Automation
Custom fields and intake data can be used to auto-populate reusable document templates, reducing manual data entry. Documents are stored securely within the platform and accessible through firm and client portals.

Flexible Billing Cycle
The platform supports multiple billing structures including hourly, flat fee, installment, contingency, trust, pro bono, and LEDES invoicing. Time tracking runs continuously per matter. Invoices can be generated by client, matter, or in batch. Clients can view and pay invoices through the portal using Confido Legal, CSG Forte, or LawPay, with options for credit card, e-check, or ACH. Offline payment and QuickBooks are also supported.

Calendar and Task Management
Calendars and tasks are centralized by contact and matter, with customizable appointment types and automated task creation through firm-defined workflow templates. Schedules can be viewed by individual firm member or appointment category.

External Network Access
Attorneys on the platform are searchable by potential clients through the SimpleLaw website. The platform also supports co-counsel search and case referrals among verified attorneys, and connects firms with on-demand certified paralegals through a partnership with NALA, the National Association of Legal Assistants.

Firms can configure workflows, document naming conventions, permission sets, reporting parameters, and intake forms. One free paralegal account is included per subscribing firm.

Security
The platform uses data encryption, malware and phishing monitoring, and assigns each firm a unique domain. Hosting is on Amazon Web Services. Regular Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing is performed. The platform is HIPAA-compliant, GDPR-compliant, and SOC2-verified.
