Configurable Time Increments The timeline can be displayed in billing increments of 1, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. For legal users, the 6-minute increment view is supported natively, enabling timekeeping that aligns with standard legal billing practices.

Time Entry Creation and Export Users create time entries by referencing the captured activity timeline, then export those entries as reports or sync them directly to connected project management or billing software. Entries can be assigned to specific matters, clients, or projects.

Integration with Legal and Project Software Memtime connects to over 100 third-party platforms, including legal practice management software such as Clio and Lawcus, as well as billing tools such as QuickBooks, FreshBooks, and Harvest. Integration is configured during setup and does not require ongoing manual input.

Email and Call Capture Memtime captures time spent in email clients, including email subjects, senders, and recipients. For users relying on VoIP calling, phone calls are captured in a separate column of the activity timeline. Custom rules can be created to semi-automate time entry suggestions based on keywords appearing in emails or file names.

Offline and Local Data Storage All activity tracking data is stored on the user's device and is not transmitted to Memtime's servers. Account authentication and integration middleware are handled via cloud services, but no personal activity data is stored externally. The tool is described by the company as suitable for organizations with high data security standards.

Offline Meeting Capture Time spent in offline or in-person meetings is reflected as offline time in the timeline. Calendar events are displayed alongside the activity log to assist users in matching scheduled appointments to recorded time blocks.

Custom Reporting Users can generate reports summarizing time entries by project, client, or time period. Reports can be exported for billing or internal review purposes.
