Lawmateanz
Lawmateanz connects lawyers with prospective clients through region-based matching and a self-managed lawyer profile.
Key features and functions include:
Client Request Matching
Matches client requests to lawyers by area of law and region, offering requests locally before anywhere else. Clients can also choose a specific lawyer by name.
Fair Rotation
Rotates requests among local lawyers, giving priority to the lawyer who has waited longest since their last match. Ranking position cannot be purchased.
Lawyer Dashboard
Displays incoming client requests by area of law and location, and each request is marked as responded once the lawyer has replied. A setting for accepting new clients pauses or resumes new requests.
Request Reassignment
Automatically matched requests that are not marked as responded within a set period may be passed to another available lawyer. Requests from clients who chose a lawyer by name are not reassigned.
Practice Management Integration
Sends new client matches to practice management software and other tools as leads or contacts through webhook-based automation platforms, with a direct connection for one practice management system currently in beta. Each match includes the client’s name, email, phone number if provided, area of law, and location, and a test lead can be sent to confirm the connection. Email notifications are sent alongside each integration.
Client Referrals
Allows lawyers to pass on clients they cannot help rather than turning them away. A ready-made line with the lawyer’s own link can be added to decline email templates in practice management software.
Notifications
Notifies lawyers of new requests and updates.
Lawyer Profiles
Shows practice areas and the date the lawyer’s practising certificate was last checked. Legal Aid, fixed-fee, and rate details are marked as self-reported. Response rates and clients served appear once enough clients have checked in, and only matched clients can leave reviews.
Practising Certificate Verification
Checks each lawyer’s practising certificate against the official register before the lawyer is listed.
Public Legal Questions
Lets lawyers answer public legal questions, with answers presented as general information rather than legal advice.
Website Linking
Lets lawyers link their own websites to their profiles.
Client Communication Wording
Provides ready-to-use written and spoken wording that lawyers can use to explain to clients how they use the service.
Referral Dashboard
Lets lawyers refer other lawyers through a personal link and track their referrals.
