Overview

KaiCalls provides a configurable AI phone agent and legal-intake workspace for law firms.

Key features and functions include:

Call Handling and Intake
The system can answer calls when staff are busy, after hours, on weekends, or during holidays, following approved scripts and matter-specific questions to capture caller contact information and case details. Each completed call is returned as a transcript, summary, lead record, and next step for staff review.

Lead Qualification
Callers are evaluated against firm-defined qualification criteria, and the system flags cases approaching statute-of-limitations deadlines based on incident dates and locations.

Practice-Area Workflows
Pre-configured intake workflows are available for personal injury, criminal defense, family law, immigration, mass tort, and workers' compensation, each with practice-area-specific qualifying questions.

Call Routing and Follow-Up
Staff control the greeting, voice, language, business hours, closed dates, questions, qualification criteria, appointment-request flow, transfers, and fallback behavior. Qualified leads can be warm-transferred to attorneys or staff with full call context, with follow-up including SMS notifications and calendar booking links.

Existing Number Compatibility
The service can work alongside an existing business number through call forwarding, allowing a firm to use KaiCalls for overflow or after-hours coverage without replacing its main number.

Integrations
Call and case information can be delivered to CRM and practice management systems, including Clio, Litify, MyCase, and Salesforce, as well as through email, signed webhooks, Zapier, or the REST API.

Bilingual Support
The system supports English and Spanish conversations.

Testing and Configuration
Firms can test the greeting and intake flow before routing live calls and revise the workflow as intake requirements change.

Scope and Liability
KaiCalls supports intake and administrative call handling; the system is designed not to give legal advice or offer opinions on case strength. Attorneys and firm staff remain responsible for legal advice, conflict checks, disclosure requirements, case-acceptance decisions, and supervision of the system.
