Intaker is a cloud-based intake automation platform built for law firms. Intaker consolidates lead engagement across website chat, SMS, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook/Meta, and Google Local Services Ads (LSA) into a single communications hub. Intaker's website chat tool delivers an interactive, video-first intake experience that captures and qualifies leads directly from a law firm's website. Chat flows can be customized by page, practice area, and case type, and support multilingual conversations. The tool includes contact shortcuts for mobile and desktop users, voice note and video message capture, and real-time alerts to firm staff when a new lead engages.
AI Agents
Intaker provides named AI agents trained on legal intake workflows to handle lead engagement autonomously. Arthur responds to Google LSA message leads; Jane captures and qualifies inbound SMS leads; and Owen follows up with cold leads to prepare them for a call. Additional agents are available for other intake tasks. Agents operate continuously and are designed to function without manual setup for each interaction.
Two-Way Texting
The platform provides a dedicated phone number for two-way SMS communication with leads and existing clients. Incoming and outgoing text conversations are managed through the Intaker dashboard and can be automated or handled manually by staff.
Workflows and Follow-up Automation
Intaker's workflow tool allows firms to configure automated sequences of texts, calls, and follow-up actions triggered by lead behavior, case status, or platform activity. Workflows can route leads to the appropriate team member, schedule appointments, or deliver e-signature requests based on lead qualification outcomes.
LSA Responder
The LSA Responder automatically replies to message leads generated through Google Local Services Ads, enabling law firms to respond within seconds and convert inquiries into consultations before other firms respond.
Communications Hub
The Communications Hub consolidates chat, SMS, phone, and social messaging into a single workspace. It includes visual lead pipelines, task management, call logging, and manual and automated messaging across SMS, Facebook, WhatsApp, and other channels. A mobile app for iOS and Android allows staff to manage leads and receive notifications on the go.
Live Call Connect
Live Call Connect enables firms to transition a lead from a chat conversation into a live phone call. The feature includes real-time phone alerts for high-priority leads, automatic call recording and transcription, and AI-generated summaries of each call interaction.
