inMailX is an email management, compliance, and productivity solution delivered as an add-in for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365.

Attachment Preview and Metadata Cleaning
Users can preview email attachments side-by-side with the email message before sending, without opening them separately. The tool also allows users to inspect and clean metadata from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, and image attachments to remove sensitive or confidential information prior to sending.

PDF Conversion and Attachment Bundling
Attachments can be converted to PDF, bookmarked, and combined into a single PDF file when composing emails. Attachments can also be renamed and reordered on the fly.

Attachment Security
The tool supports password protection and ZIP compression of email attachments before they are sent.

Send Guard (Recipient and Attachment Verification)
This feature prompts users to confirm that confidential emails are being sent to the correct recipients with the correct attachments, intended to reduce the risk of accidental data breaches.

Through optional connectors, inMailX integrates Outlook with third-party document and records management systems, including iManage Work/Worksite, NetDocuments, SharePoint, Micro Focus/OpenText Content Manager, and Worldox, as well as cloud storage and network folder structures such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive. Emails can be filed directly into these systems with metadata and naming conventions applied.
