Future in Tech (FiT)
Future in Tech (FiT) supports information management and compliance across public and private sector organizations. It offers tools for handling physical and digital records, enforcing retention policies, and ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. FiT is deployed as a cloud-hosted service (AWS) and integrates with existing systems through configuration rather than custom development, allowing for adaptable implementation without disrupting upgrades or vendor support.
Its core modules include:
FiT Information Governance: FiT Information Governance manages the full lifecycle of physical and electronic records across the enterprise. It enforces retention scheduling, archiving, legal holds, and secure disposal through policy-driven workflows applied consistently across structured and unstructured repositories, including DMS, Microsoft 365, network shares, archives, and physical records.
The platform supports regulatory and compliance requirements through structured access controls, approval workflows, reporting, and audit-ready tooling. By replacing manual governance processes with standardized execution and full auditability, FiT Information Governance reduces risk, improves defensibility, and ensures information is managed, retained, and disposed of in accordance with firm and regulatory obligations.
FiT Mobility: FiT Mobility enables the secure movement, transfer, and orchestration of information across systems throughout the matter lifecycle. It supports controlled data transfers between DMS, Microsoft 365, network shares, archives, and other repositories while preserving metadata, permissions, and governance controls.
FiT Mobility applies workflow-driven approvals, audit logging, and policy enforcement to ensure data is moved intentionally and defensibly. By standardizing matter transfers, migrations, and data repositioning events, FiT Mobility reduces operational risk, supports compliance requirements, and enables firms to modernize data locations without disrupting users or compromising security.
FiT Classify: FiT Classify enables the automated and user-assisted classification of physical and electronic content across the enterprise. It applies governance rules, metadata, and contextual signals to accurately categorize information at the matter, folder, and document level across both structured and unstructured repositories.
FiT Classify supports ROT identification (redundant, obsolete, trivial content), deduplication, and audit tagging across systems such as DMS, Microsoft 365, network shares, archives, and other data sources. By standardizing classification at intake and throughout the data lifecycle, FiT Classify enables consistent retention enforcement, improves searchability, reduces data risk, and ensures defensible compliance across all governed endpoints.
Each module can operate independently or as part of the full platform, supporting scalable deployments based on organizational needs.
