CaseDaemon
CaseDaemon is a case-preparation platform built for solo and small-practice immigration attorneys, focused specifically on collecting client documents and mapping the resulting information into case forms. Attorneys select a case type, receive a customizable preparation checklist, and monitor submission progress through a dashboard while the system checks documents for type and legibility, flags missing items, and drafts follow-up reminders for staff to review and send. Once collection is complete, CaseDaemon produces an organized document packet and structured case information for transfer into a firm's existing case-management system. The tool is designed to support attorneys, paralegals, and assistants rather than replace them; it does not provide legal advice or independently file cases, and attorneys remain responsible for reviewing extracted information and drafted communications.
Key Features & Functions:
Portal-Free Client Communication
Clients submit documents through channels they already use (email, SMS, or WhatsApp) rather than creating an account or downloading a separate app. Additional channel integrations are in development.
Multilingual Conversational Intake
The client-facing interface communicates in fifteen languages, including Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Arabic, Mandarin, and Hindi, and explains what each requested document is and why it is needed.
Customizable Case Checklists
Firms select a case type (supported forms include I-129F, I-751, I-130, N-400, I-485, I-589, and G-28) and receive a default preparation checklist that can be edited, reordered, or saved as a firm template.
Automated Document Review
Uploaded materials are checked for document type and legibility; if something appears incorrect, the client is automatically prompted to re-upload.
Drafted Follow-Up Communications
The system tracks outstanding items and drafts reminder emails for staff to review, edit, and send; it does not send client-facing communications on its own.
Structured Packet Output
Once collection is complete, CaseDaemon produces an organized document packet and structured case data intended for review and transfer into a firm's existing case-management system.
Security and Access Controls
The company states that data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored and processed in the United States, and protected by required multifactor authentication, role-based access controls, and audit logging. AI processing is described as scoped to a single matter at a time under a zero-data-retention configuration, with uploaded files purged shortly after processing.
