Note: UnitedLex never formally announced the end of Vantage as an Enterprise Legal Platform. The ELP positioning appears to have quietly wound down sometime in 2022&ndash;2023, with two developments in September 2023 serving as the clearest indicators of a strategic shift: the appointment of a new CEO with a background in targeted data services rather than broad platform plays, and the launch of Vantage for IP as a standalone analytics tool. Rather than sunsetting the Vantage brand, UnitedLex repurposed it as an umbrella for a family of more specialized products, including the Vantage Intelligence Repository (litigation) and Vantage for IP (patent analytics).

Vantage provides corporate in-house departments with the opportunity to engage on their internal pain points and the ability to implement a custom implementation of the UnitedLex proprietary solution that automates internal workflows and generates improved insights from work conducted by the legal team. Vantage operates to capture the work performed by legal teams for their internal business, prior to development of a formal matter. Most of the time, this work is not tracked or captured by in-house departments, making resourcing difficult. Vantage enables GCs to capture and track all work in one place, giving a data-driven overview of the team's capacity and time. Vantage also provides the ability for clients to better track and manage engagements with external counsel, combining this information with internal resourcing information to provide a complete picture of a department&rsquo;s work.&nbsp;
