Syntheia Compare is a document comparison platform for legal teams. It handles the everyday comparison — this version against that one — and scales to sets that conventional pairwise tools cannot address: two documents, or several hundred. Given a set, Syntheia Compare can determine which documents should be compared against which and suggest the groupings that produce an exhaustive comparison across the whole set, so the user sees what has changed and what deviates across every document at once rather than one blackline at a time.

For larger sets, Syntheia Compare analyses the documents, groups related ones, and proposes the comparisons worth running. The suggestions are presented, and the user decides which to execute. The platform removes the work of identifying and queuing comparisons by hand without taking the judgment call away from the lawyer.

Track a single document across every amendment and turn, showing how positions moved over the life of a negotiation rather than only between the two most recent versions.
Competing counterparty drafts
Compare multiple counterparties' redlines against a common base document, surfacing where each party has departed from the original and from one another.
Portfolio-scale review
Check a large batch of similar agreements — leases, easements, side letters — against one another to identify anything that deviates from the norm. Review effort concentrates on the outliers instead of being spread evenly across the portfolio.
Deployment
Syntheia Compare runs as a standalone web application, and inside Microsoft Outlook, comparing attachments where they already arrive rather than requiring documents to be saved out first.
Demonstrated results
In a portfolio review of 300 leases, clustering and comparison narrowed the set requiring manual legal review from 300 to approximately 20, at a fraction of the cost of reviewing the full portfolio.
