Syncly is a legal technology integration platform designed to connect, synchronize, and govern the movement of documents and data across a law firm's technology stack. The platform is organized around three core capabilities: integration connectors, document synchronization, and governance and control.
Key Features and Functions:
Integration Connectors
Syncly provides a growing library of plug-and-play connectors to legal and productivity platforms including iManage, NetDocuments, HighQ, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, Litify, iCertus, and CoCounsel. Connectors are configured once and operate within the user access permissions of each connected system.
Document Synchronization
One-way and two-way sync workflows automate the real-time movement of documents and data between connected systems. Workflows include version control, conflict detection, and automated error handling, with options for continuous or scheduled synchronization windows.
Metadata Management
Syncly maps and syncs metadata fields — such as iManage matter data — into connected platforms including HighQ, maintaining structured and searchable data across systems.
Governance and Monitoring
Real-time dashboards surface user activity, data movement, and potential compliance risks across a firm's HighQ environment. Customizable rules and automated alerts flag activity outside defined policies, with daily or weekly reporting options.
Site Archival
Bulk archival of HighQ sites captures files, iSheets, wikis, task records, version history, redactions, deletions, and user access logs. Archived data can be routed to a central location or mapped to individual folders, with automated email notification on completion.
User Management
A unified view of all internal and external users displays login activity, site access counts, and data movement volume. Accounts can be suspended or archived individually or in bulk from a single screen.
Error Handling and Audit Trail
Sync errors are surfaced with plain-English explanations and can be retried in bulk directly within the platform. All workflow activity is automatically logged and exportable for compliance purposes.
Identity and Access Integration
Syncly integrates with enterprise identity providers including Azure AD, Okta, and OneLogin. Credentials are not stored by Syncly; user access is governed through the firm's existing identity framework.
