Summize's contract lifecycle management platform offers four key features designed to streamline contract processes:​

Request: Business users can generate contracts directly within familiar tools like Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce using pre-approved templates and workflows. 

Review: Summize integrates with Microsoft Word to provide AI-powered contract reviews. Features include automated redlining, compliance checks, clause rephrasing, and instant summaries.

Repository: All contracts are stored in a centralized, secure repository with advanced search capabilities. Users can track key milestones, set reminders, and access contracts efficiently.

Analytics: Leveraging AI, Summize analyzes contract data to identify risks and opportunities. Users gain insights into clauses and terms across contracts.

In April 2025, Summize launched an updated version of its contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform, introducing a new AI feature called Summize Intelligent Agents (SIA). The platform uses a multi-agent AI approach designed to replicate the way legal professionals review complex agreements. Each AI agent performs a specific function within the contract review process, including redlining and summarization, with built-in validation to improve output accuracy. This approach is intended to support both high-volume, low-risk contracts and more complex legal documents.

Summize’s enhanced CLM features include:

Review Pro identifies non-compliant and missing clauses, provides AI contract redlining, revision suggestions and automated document comments directly inside Microsoft Word, cutting review times and providing faster and more accurate contract negotiations.
    
Ask SIA, a conversational AI interface, answers contract- and workflow-related questions using data from pre- and post-signature documents to deliver information quickly and efficiently. Ask SIA provides advanced analysis by extracting contract data and trends, terms, obligations, and risks that transform dense legal language into business-friendly summaries for more strategic decision-making and revenue-generating opportunities.
