Sapphire Legal is a Private Legal Intelligence (PLI) platform purpose-built for fractional General Counsels, consultant solicitors, and small firms operating across multiple client engagements. The platform is architected around per-tenant data isolation, providing each client firm with a dedicated environment to prevent confidential information from co-mingling across client boundaries.

Agentic Architecture
Sapphire Legal is built on purpose-specific AI agents rather than a single general-purpose assistant. The SSD (Social Security Disability) practice pack alone runs 14 dedicated agents, each handling a distinct stage of case analysis, evidentiary review, and drafting. Agents operate autonomously against matter data — running continuously in the background rather than waiting on a user-triggered query — and surface findings for attorney review as work progresses. An Agent Regression Suite gates agent output before it reaches production: each agent is scored against a pass threshold, with critical errors automatically blocked rather than surfaced to the end user.

Per-Tenant Data Isolation
Each client firm is provisioned with a separate PostgreSQL database, an isolated document storage location with encryption at rest, a dedicated search index, and a private AI context window. Client documents, matters, and research history are maintained in discrete environments, distinct from other client tenants.

Portfolio Command Center
A centralized dashboard provides cross-client visibility into compliance scores, active matters, urgent actions, and deadlines. Matter tracking is organized via a Kanban board with per-practice stages, and conflict checking runs automatically on new client or matter intake.

Multi-Jurisdiction Legal Research
Research capabilities draw on US federal law and all 50 state statutes via Cornell LII, UK primary case law through BAILII and the National Archives Find Case Law API, Canadian federal and provincial materials in both English and French, and Australian case law and legislation via AustLII. Queries are routed to the jurisdiction's own corpus rather than a blended index, and primary source citations are included throughout.

Document Playbooks
Playbooks encode preferred positions, acceptable fallbacks, and walk-away terms by clause and agreement type. Contract review and redlining are evaluated against the applicable playbook, so output reflects a defined negotiating posture rather than generic suggestions.

Client House Style
House Style captures each client's negotiation posture, hot buttons, and approved language. The platform's AI applies these parameters to document drafts and scopes retrieval to that client's prior documents, so output reads like the client's own work product.

Microsoft Office Add-Ins
A Word add-in delivers contract analysis inside the document — findings, severity counts, and one-click filing to the matter — without leaving the drafting surface. An Outlook add-in handles email and attachment capture, supported by server-side routing that files correspondence to the correct matter regardless of mail client.

Ambient Intelligence
A background layer of autonomous agents monitors matters, documents, and correspondence continuously as work progresses — not on a per-query basis. These agents independently surface obligations, dates, risks, and inconsistencies as structured findings, deduplicated and routed for attorney review. Practitioners receive relevant signal without having to run a search or prompt the system directly.

Sapphire Sign
An integrated e-signature module supporting engagement letter workflows and document execution within the platform. Envelopes are unlimited at no per-signature cost, and executed documents remain inside the client's isolated environment rather than a third-party vendor's.

Sapphire Clarity
A call recording analysis module that processes uploaded recordings and returns structured legal intelligence, including action items, legal risk flags, engagement scoring, and a searchable transcript. Attorney-client privileged transcripts are subject to a gated review step with audit logging.

Client Portal Provisioning
White-labeled client portals are provisioned per client firm, with zero-touch setup. Each portal carries the practitioner's branding and includes per-tenant database isolation and document storage.

Documents are automatically organized by tags, type, jurisdiction, or content-based rules without manual filing.
