SaaS Tracker

SaaS Tracker

Overview

SaaS Tracker (ST) is a legal-intelligence platform that helps legal, compliance, procurement, and operations teams monitor public terms and other external legal dependencies, such as vendor terms, privacy policies, and contract-linked online terms that a third-party publisher can change without notice. The platform preserves retrieved versions, generates cited AI-assisted potential-impact briefs, and routes material changes through a customer-designated human-review workflow.

Key features and functions include:

Source Registration
Documents are added individually or by CSV upload, along with the document type, its relationship to the business, and the product, vendor, or contract it may affect.

Scheduled Monitoring
Runs scheduled checks against registered sources, following supported redirects, with a manual-document monitoring option available when a publisher blocks automated retrieval.

Evidence Preservation
Retrieved versions are preserved with timestamps, content hashes, and source details, creating a durable record independent of the current state of the source webpage.

Change Comparison and Impact Briefs
Compares additions and removals between document versions and generates a cited AI-assisted potential-impact brief that links back to the retrieved source language for reviewers to check directly.

Decision Queue and Human Review
Detected changes appear in a Decision Queue for review. A customer-designated reviewer is assigned to each change, along with a deadline, and the reviewer's decision is documented. AI-generated output is designed to support triage rather than substitute for legal advice.

Audit Trail and Reporting
Retains a full audit history of assigned reviewers, decisions, and evidence, with search and export capability for reporting.

Use Cases
Supports three primary monitoring needs: a company's own software subscription terms; third-party APIs, licenses, subprocessors, and SaaS dependencies incorporated into its products or operations; and online terms incorporated by reference into contracts, to maintain a defensible version history.
