Most redaction tools rely on pattern matching alone. RedactShield goes further, using a deterministic two-stage validation pipeline that pairs regex detection with mathematical verification: modulus-11 checksum validation for NHS numbers and structural integrity checks for National Insurance numbers. This eliminates false positives and prevents over-redaction.

The tool runs entirely offline in an air-gapped, zero-persistence environment. Sensitive data never leaves your organisation's infrastructure, and nothing is written to disk during processing.

Every run produces a structured audit package containing field-level redaction events, GDPR lawful basis selection under Articles 6 and 9, named approvals, risk classification, and a unique execution ID — giving you defensible evidence of compliant processing that's ready for regulatory review.
