OpenText Core Insight

Overview

OpenText Core Insight is a cloud-based eDiscovery platform built around technology-assisted review (TAR) and automation for document review and investigations.

Key features and functions include:

Technology-assisted review
Uses continuous active learning to surface the most relevant documents early in the review process, reducing the volume of material requiring manual review.

Multi-matter management
Centralizes documents in a shared repository so that data can be provisioned to new or existing matters without duplicating collection or processing work, supporting consistency across repeat litigation and investigations.

Interactive reporting dashboards
Allow administrators to monitor and share review progress for individual cases or across a portfolio of matters, including project status, reviewer progress, and cost against budget.

Automated data redaction
Detects and applies bulk redactions to privileged and confidential information, including PII, PCI, and PHI, to support defensible production.

Machine translation and multilanguage support
Integrates with Amazon Web Services machine translation and supports processing of documents in a large number of languages, intended for multinational eDiscovery and multilingual review matters.

Visual analytics
Provides visualization tools intended to help review teams identify communication patterns and gain an overview of a matter's underlying data.

Core Insight traces its lineage to Catalyst Repository Systems' Insight platform, acquired by OpenText in 2019, and to the Insight Predict continuous active learning engine. It is offered as part of OpenText's broader Legal Tech product portfolio, which also includes OpenText eDiscovery, OpenText Investigation, and OpenText Core Legal Hold.
