Overview
Lista is a cloud-based SOP and workflow management platform designed for immigration law firms. The platform provides structured, step-by-step case processing workflows built by an experienced immigration attorney, enabling attorneys, paralegals, and staff to follow a consistent, auditable process from initial client intake through receipt of government documents and case closure.
Key features and functions include:
Purchasable case processing workflows
Lista offers a library of pre-built immigration case workflows available for individual purchase. Each workflow covers a specific visa type or matter and provides detailed, sequenced action items from intake through case close. Workflows are purchased once and reused indefinitely across cases. Currently available workflows include H-1B (135+ steps), PERM (150+ steps), E-2, L-1A, L-1B, O-1A, O-1B (Arts and MP/TV), P-1, TN (three variants), I-140, EB-1A, EB-1C, National Interest Waiver, Adjustment of Status (employment-based and family-based), I-130, naturalization (N-400), and others. Each workflow includes sample attorney cover letters, letters of support, and citations to applicable regulatory authority.
Case progress tracking and accountability
As workflow steps are completed, they are checked off and date-stamped with the caseworker's name. This creates a traceable record of case progress, making it straightforward for any team member — attorney, paralegal, or administrator — to determine the current status of a case and identify what action is needed next.
Custom workflow creation
In addition to the purchasable workflow library, Lista allows firms to build and maintain their own internal workflows at no additional charge. This enables firms to document and standardize any firm-specific processes — from onboarding new hires to handling employee terminations — within the same platform used for case processing.
Institutional knowledge repository
By capturing case processing steps and firm procedures in a structured, accessible format, Lista serves as a repository for institutional knowledge. This reduces dependency on individual staff members, decreases training time for new employees, and helps maintain process continuity when staff transitions occur.
