Overview

Lexsophos is a negotiation intelligence product for aviation legal and contracts teams, built to surface relevant precedent from an organization’s own past Word-based contract negotiations during a live review.

Key features and functions include:

Historical clause matching
Compares a proposed change in an incoming redline against an organization’s previously negotiated clauses, tracked-change redlines, and recorded comments, showing how a similar issue was handled before and the context behind that outcome.

Source-linked results
Each historical match links back to its originating Word document, so a reviewer can inspect the earlier agreement directly rather than relying solely on the extracted clause.

Workspace organized by counterparty and agreement type
Uploaded Word files, including tracked-changes versions and final signed agreements, are automatically organized by counterparty and agreement type so negotiation history can be located without manually searching folders.

Review and decision workflow
Reviewers accept, reject, or modify each matched clause after assessing the commercial terms, and approval workflows can require sign-off from more than one approver.

AI-assisted summarization and review
An AI assistant, built on Anthropic’s Claude models and an Amazon Titan search model run through Amazon Bedrock, can summarize earlier changes and support a broader review of the agreement. The assistant does not have the ability to browse, call other systems, or edit documents directly; suggestions become changes only when a reviewer accepts them.

Word-in, Word-out workflow
Teams work from Word files throughout: historical agreements are uploaded in Word, and the next version of the agreement under negotiation is generated as a Word document for sending to the counterparty.

Single-tenant, access-controlled deployment
Each customer’s data is hosted in a dedicated, single-tenant AWS environment with row-level security enforced in the underlying database, five built-in user roles, and two-factor authentication available for sign-in.
