LEXPLORIA is a legal research analytics platform built around relational data analysis and machine learning applied to legal case law and legislative texts.
Key features and functions include:
Citation Networks The tool generates a citation network for an individual legal document, such as a court decision, showing its inbound and outbound citations, its relational position within the wider body of case law, and an authority ranking.
EU Law and European Human Rights Law Coverage The current beta version is trained on a dataset covering case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and EU legal acts, along with case law from the European Court of Human Rights.
Document Annotation Users can annotate individual paragraphs within a legal document, whether case law or a legal act. Annotations can be kept private or shared publicly with other users.

The product is currently available as an open beta focused on European Union law and European Court of Human Rights case law, and is designed for lawyers, judges, legal scholars, and students. Core functionality includes citation network mapping, which visualizes inbound and outbound citations for individual legal documents along with an authority ranking, and a paragraph-level annotation tool that allows users to mark up case law and legal acts and optionally share annotations publicly.
