Legal Workflow
by Settle&
Settle& Legal Workflow is an AI-assisted tool for in-house legal teams and law firms to review, negotiate, and resolve claims and disputes internally before they proceed to litigation or outside counsel. Settle& is part of Spyrosoft Group, an international software engineering group.
Key features and functions include:
Claim review and position drafting
Reads an incoming claim against the organization’s own terms and the applicable rules, and drafts a position identifying the relevant points. A lawyer determines the claim’s value and the course of action.
Playbook-based negotiation and resolution
Runs negotiations or internal resolution processes on the team’s own playbook. The system is configured from the rules and playbook a team works to rather than a fixed workflow, and applies to both in-house teams and law firms.
Escalation with a single record
When a matter moves to outside counsel or a formal stage, it carries one record without rebuilding the file. The same system runs mediation, published schemes, and formal arbitration.
Human review and sign-off
The system drafts, and a named lawyer reviews, changes, and signs. Both steps are recorded separately. Each AI function can be switched off, with the default setting and any change recorded.
Tamper-evident record
The record is hash-chained and never edited in place, and the AI model cannot write to it. Each party can check and export a copy.
Rulebook configuration
Rules are loaded once, and every case runs under them.
Data and deployment terms
Single-tenant deployment with encryption in transit and at rest, white-label branding, export in open formats, and source code held in escrow. Client cases are not used for model training, and hosting and sub-processor details are provided in writing before go-live.
