Law.com Radar
by Centellic
Law.com Radar is a litigation surveillance and legal intelligence platform that delivers real-time new suit alerts and case data drawn from federal and state court dockets across the United States. Published under the Law.com brand — part of Centellic, the company formed from the 2025 merger of ALM Global and Law Business Research — the product is designed for use by law firm attorneys, business development professionals, and library and knowledge management staff.
Key features and functions include:
Targeted New Suit Alerting Users can configure alerts by keyword, jurisdiction, case type, party name, law firm, federal Nature of Suit (NOS) code, industry, and SALI Alliance claim tags. Alerts can be delivered immediately, hourly, daily, or weekly, and can be distributed to individuals or groups within a firm.
Broad Court Coverage The platform covers federal district courts nationwide and more than 2,800 state and county courts across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, including hard-to-access jurisdictions that require manual document collection.
Complaint Access Users have one-click access to full complaint documents for covered cases without additional per-document fees. Full-text complaint search is available to surface relevant filings based on specific terms or issues.
AI-Enhanced Case Summaries New filings are accompanied by algorithmically generated summaries, reviewed by editorial staff, to help users quickly assess the relevance of new cases. A proprietary machine learning model assigns SALI Alliance taxonomy tags to new civil filings to standardize case-type labeling across court systems.
Trend Detection An algorithmic trend detection feature identifies surges and patterns in case filings across practice areas, industries, and geographic regions, allowing users to monitor shifts in litigation activity over time.
Corporate and Deal Intelligence In addition to litigation monitoring, the platform delivers updates on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, private equity deals, and securities offerings, drawn from Law.com editorial and data sources.
Case Data API A case data API enables integration of Law.com Radar's new suit data into internal firm systems, dashboards, and workflows, supporting automation of litigation surveillance processes.
