ImmiTranslate
Overview
ImmiTranslate is a technology company and on-demand translation platform that uses AI-assisted workflows and a global network of professional human translators to produce certified, notarized, and business translations for immigration, legal, academic, financial, and medical purposes. The platform is designed for high-volume, compliance-sensitive translation needs, with particular depth in U.S. and Canadian immigration document requirements. ImmiTranslate describes itself as "first and foremost a technology company," with its development roadmap focused on expanding AI capabilities to improve turnaround speed and translation quality.
Key features and functions include:
Translation API
ImmiTranslate's Translation API allows immigration law firms, corporate legal departments, and other organizations to integrate translation ordering, tracking, and delivery programmatically into their existing systems and workflows. This enables automated submission of documents for translation without manual interaction with the web platform, supporting high-volume use cases and custom workflow automation.
AI-assisted human translation workflow
The platform's translation process combines AI-assisted tooling with professional human translators. Each order moves through a structured pipeline: order placement, professional translation, editing review, client review, and delivery. The AI layer is designed to assist translators and improve consistency and turnaround speed while preserving the accuracy and quality control of human review at each stage.
Certified translation
Certified translations are literal, word-for-word translations delivered as certified PDFs with a signed Statement of Translation Accuracy. They are accepted by USCIS, the U.S. Department of State, all U.S. federal agencies, and thousands of government agencies globally. Formatting is matched to the source document. Optional add-ons include notarization (valid in all 50 U.S. states), physical delivery via overnight courier, and apostille authentication for international use.
Notarized translation and specialized submissions
Notarized translations combine certified translation with notarization and are specifically approved by IRCC for Canadian immigration proceedings. ImmiTranslate also supports specialized translation pathways for ECFMG submissions and other agency-specific requirements, with document processing tailored to the standards of each receiving institution.
Document and language coverage
The platform supports 70+ languages — including all EU languages — and handles a broad range of document types commonly required in immigration proceedings: birth, marriage, death, and divorce certificates; passports; asylum documents; academic transcripts and diplomas; financial statements; medical records; vaccination records; adoption documents; and mortgage documents, among others.
Security infrastructure
ImmiTranslate operates a zero-trust network architecture with document encryption at rest using a managed key framework with annual key rotation. Access to client documents is restricted to project-assigned personnel and is logged and monitored. All translators and staff operate under non-disclosure agreements. Where possible, source documents are provided to translators in virtualized environments that prevent local hard-disk access. All data is stored within ISO 27001 certified data centers, and the platform undergoes periodic penetration testing and phishing training.
