Decision Tree Legal Research
Breaks a legal question into its component issues and maps them onto a versioned issue graph of California law. The resulting map shows what proves the claim, what defeats it, what is missing, and which exceptions the other side could raise. Because the question, facts, corpus version, and product version fully determine the output, the same inputs always return the same map.

Source Verification
Validates each authority for court, precedential status, Rule 8.1115 publication status, negative treatment, supersession, and review history before it appears. Quoted passages are matched verbatim against the source document by script, and any sentence that fails a check is removed.

California Legal Corpus
Covers California opinions, statute sections, and tentative rulings, with more statutory topics being added. Each authority records its decided date, the date it was added to the corpus, and its treatment as of the corpus version used. Firm Remedy publishes what the corpus covers and what it excludes.

Unresolved Fact Identification
When a branch can't be resolved because the record is silent, the map names the exact fact needed and shows where each possible answer would lead.

Proof and Motion Maps
Breaks each motion down into the moving party's burden element by element, attaching controlling authority and the applicable standard to each element. Flags the elements the record does not yet support. The platform includes pre-mapped motion types across civil practice.
