Exhibit Flow
Exhibit Flow is a Windows and Mac desktop application that automates repetitive PDF document preparation tasks commonly associated with litigation exhibit management. All processing is performed locally on the user's device and does not require uploading files to an external server or cloud environment.
Key features and functions include:
Digital Exhibit Stickers The application applies customized, correctly numbered or lettered exhibit stickers to multiple PDF files simultaneously via a single batch process. Users can configure sticker elements including topline text, prefixes, headers, footers, color, and positioning. The tool also supports blank stickers for exhibits to be marked at deposition or trial.
Exhibit Slipsheets Exhibit Flow generates and appends customized exhibit slipsheet cover pages to PDF files in batch. Slipsheet templates are configurable for font, format, style, and additional text. The tool supports continuous or per-exhibit pagination and automates prefix assignment based on file names.
Exhibit List Creation The application parses file name syntax to generate a formatted Word document exhibit index, suitable for filing or internal use.
Appellate Appendix Creator Users can select and reorder PDF files for inclusion in an appellate appendix, assign volumes, and configure pagination settings. The tool generates paginated appendix volumes and adds PDF bookmarks to each entry. It also produces a Word document Table of Contents showing entries and page ranges by volume.
Smart Bates Labeler The Bates labeling tool supports customizable prefix, suffix, and confidentiality text. It includes a memory function that retains the last-used pagination settings and ending page number across sessions. An optional content-scaling feature prevents labels from obscuring document content.
Batch File Renamer Files can be batch renamed using auto-incremented numeric or alphabetic prefixes. A File Tagger function allows users to assign files to specific numbered or lettered slots corresponding to a brief or deposition outline.
PDF Merger The tool merges multiple PDF files into a single document and automatically generates bookmarks indicating where each source file begins.
Image-to-PDF Conversion The application accepts image files in JPG, TIFF, PNG, and BMP formats as inputs to the above modules and converts them to PDF automatically during processing.
