Product Tiers The platform is offered in four configurations: EQ Law Firm and EQ Law Firm+ for IP law firms (with the latter designed for enterprise-scale firms requiring higher levels of automation); EQ Corporate and EQ Corporate+ for in-house IP teams, with EQ Corporate+ built on the Salesforce platform for organizations requiring advanced customization, analytics, and cross-departmental collaboration.

AI Agents Equinox includes AI agent functionality through its Qthena integration, which supports document drafting, automates routine correspondence responses, assists with complex drafting tasks such as first patent applications and office action responses, and generates summaries and suggestions for office action analysis.

PTO Connectivity The system connects to patent and trademark offices via the Equinox IP Law Portal, enabling users to receive official office law and news updates. Direct EUIPO trademark and design application filing is also supported.

Integrations Equinox connects with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), accounting platforms including Xero, patent data via Orbit, trademark data via Markify, client financial forecasting via Prokurio, and third-party workflow automation via Zapier and a custom API.

Client Access Portal A dedicated portal enables secure collaboration between IP teams or law firms and their clients, providing structured access to relevant portfolio information.

Security and Infrastructure The platform is cloud-hosted with multi-layered security, including DDoS protection, two-factor authentication (email and SMS), role-based access controls, and encrypted backups. The system reports 99.9%+ uptime. Data for UK and EU clients is stored in UK or EU data centers.
