ECFX Notice

Overview

ECFX Notice is an electronic court filing (ECF) notice processing platform that captures, validates, and processes court notices for law firms and corporate legal departments. By capturing court activity at the source and reconciling it continuously against firm records, the platform reduces the manual time required to process each notice and lowers the risk of missed or delayed notices and cases missing from firm systems. Processed notices contribute to a normalized litigation dataset that can support analytics and knowledge management.

Notice Capture
The platform captures ECF notices and their associated court-issued documents at the email infrastructure level using Exchange transport rules, without requiring per-case setup.

Data Validation
Inbound court activity is continuously compared against a firm's internal records to identify discrepancies, including missing cases, incorrect case numbers, and jurisdiction mismatches.

Document Automation
Court-issued documents are downloaded automatically, named according to firm-defined conventions, stored in a document management system, file system, or Box based on firm-defined storage policies, and distributed to designated case team members.

Operational Intelligence
A firmwide dashboard tracks notice volume, workload, and matter and jurisdiction analytics.

Court Coverage
The platform processes notices from federal courts, state courts, and administrative agencies.

Security
ECFX Notice includes SOC 2 Type II compliance, ethical wall and access-control support, PACER multi-factor authentication, and SSO/SAML support.

Add-On Modules
ECFX Document Intelligence and ECFX Time are available as add-ons to ECFX Notice. ECFX Document Intelligence reads court documents at intake to inform document naming, foldering, and profiling. ECFX Time generates time entries for documents processed by ECFX Notice using firm-defined narratives and a configurable review increment.
