Docuritas is a bank statement analysis tool built for forensic accountants, examiners, and legal counsel working with financial records in litigation and investigative matters.

Key features and functions include:

Balance verification
Each submitted statement is checked against its own printed opening and closing balances. Where the running total does not tie, the exhibit identifies the first row at which the discrepancy occurs and the amount involved.

Statement chaining
Monthly statements for the same account are linked in sequence, and any gaps or overlaps between statement periods are listed by date.

Transaction tracing
Transfers between accounts within the same matter are matched by amount and date. Outflows that do not arrive in another account in the matter are separated into a distinct unmatched-outflow schedule.

Counterparty profiling
Transactions are grouped by counterparty, account, and period, with a sample of the original transaction description retained under each grouping.

Authenticity review
For statements sourced from a subject rather than directly from a bank, the tool checks producer and creation metadata, file construction, arithmetic consistency, and transaction dates against bank settlement calendars, flagging items for the examiner to verify.

Exhibit output
Results are compiled into a single indexed, paginated PDF exhibit, accompanied by Excel and CSV schedules using the same page citations as the PDF.

Reproducibility
Each exhibit includes a findings hash generated from the method version, file hashes, and processing parameters, allowing the same input files to be independently rerun and compared by another party.

Data handling
Files are processed in memory during the session; only the resulting rows, identity data, and checks are retained. The completed matter remains available for download for a limited period after last access and is then discarded.
