IP Record Management
The platform tracks patents, trademarks, copyrights, domain names, contracts, corporate entities, franchises, litigation proceedings, and other IP types. Users can create custom record types to accommodate practice-specific needs such as licenses, agreements, and trade secrets. Records, clients, and dockets are unlimited.

Automated Deadline Reminders
DocketTrak generates color-coded automated reminder emails with daily lists of upcoming events and due dates, organized by priority. Deadlines can also be filtered by time window across past, current, and future docket views.

Trademark Registry Integration and Update Service
The platform connects with trademark databases from the USPTO, CIPO, EUIPO, WIPO, IP Australia, and New Zealand to enable automated record creation and nightly data synchronization. New US trademark applications filed by subscribers are automatically detected and created as DocketTrak records, with associated events and due dates generated automatically.

PAIR Connect and Patent Center Integration
A dedicated Windows utility connects DocketTrak to USPTO Patent Center via the MyUSPTO.gov authentication system. PAIR Connect imports patent data and transaction history, and automatically creates events and due dates for office actions and other prosecution statuses.

USPTO e-Office Action Integration
DocketTrak receives USPTO office action emails directly, updates the relevant patent records with new statuses, and generates applicable events and due dates, all automatically.

DocketWatch Monitoring Service
An automated alert service scans USPTO trademark applications daily and notifies subscribers when a Section 2(d) office action cites one of their registered trademarks or pending applications, or when a cited mark is approved by the examiner.

DocketForm Form Letter Generation
A configurable form letter tool generates customized email and Word document correspondence. Letters can be sent from the subscriber's own email address, with an unlimited number of templates supported.

Calendar Integration
DocketTrak events and due dates can be synced with iCal-compliant calendaring applications including Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, and Clio.

Client Portal
A client-facing access tier allows firms to provide clients with read-only login credentials to view their own docket records and history directly, reducing status inquiry volume.

Data Export and Migration
Search results and full data backups can be exported to Excel. The platform supports bulk import of trademark and patent data, and includes onboarding conversions from a range of competing systems including AltLegal, AppColl, TMCloud, CPi, WebTMS, and FlexTrac.
