Definely Proof

by Definely

Overview

Definely Proof is automating hundreds of proofreading checks to catch undetected errors before they become a problem. Proof is built to handle the unique formatting idiosyncrasies of legal documents including:

  • Detecting definitions issues including fixing inconsistent punctuation, quotes, styles and fonts, sorting defined terms into the correct order and flagging terms used in a document before they have been defined
  • Catching cross-reference issues
  • Ensuring consistent capitalization including finding defined terms that aren't captiatlized and pinpointing any incorrect or inconsistent capitalisation
  • Identifying any comments, placeholders or markups that should be removed
  • Fixing formatting errors including incorrect, missing or inconsistent double spacing an ensuring alignment between numbers and their corresponding description in the document

Proof is helping lawyers ensure legal documents are free of errors, avoiding costly errors and slowing down the contracting process. Find and fix issues with a click of your mouse.
