Datasite Diligence is a VDR for M&A due diligence and transaction management. The platform covers the full deal lifecycle from document preparation and upload through Q&A management, bidder engagement tracking, and post-deal archiving, with AI tooling embedded across each stage.

Document Management and Organisation
Documents can be uploaded and organised via drag-and-drop and bulk editing tools. An AI-assisted folder structure tool generates folder hierarchies from a request list or a natural language prompt. Email integration allows select users to send files directly to the project.

AI-Powered Search and Document Review
Semantic search locates content by meaning rather than keyword matching across the full document set. Document summarisation generates plain-language overviews of PDFs, Word documents, and other file formats. On-demand plain-language explanations of individual clauses or data points are available within documents. All AI outputs are scoped to each user's permission level, so responses draw only from documents the user is authorised to access.

Blueflame AI Assistant
An AI assistant embedded within the data room allows users to query the full document set, draft Q&A responses, navigate project content, and surface relevant information across permitted files, with source citations provided for all outputs.

Redaction
AI-assisted redaction identifies and redacts a broad range of PII and sensitive data types across the document set. Users can target specific words, phrases, data types, and text within images. Redactions can be reviewed, confirmed, and reversed in stages as the deal progresses.

Translation
Full document translation is available across a broad range of languages, with original document formatting preserved and support for text embedded within images.

Q&A Management
A structured Q&A module supports workflow configuration, role assignment, and question categorisation. A similar questions feature identifies duplicate buyer queries to enable reuse of prior answers. Q&A data can be exported to Excel. All Q&A activity is logged with a full audit trail.

Trackers
A trackers feature centralises diligence checklists within the platform. Ready-made checklists can be uploaded or prior templates reused. Permission controls can be applied at the individual row level.

Analytics and Bidder Engagement
Detailed activity analytics track user engagement at the document and page level, providing visibility into bidder interest and behaviour across the data room.

MCP Integration
Datasite Diligence connects to external AI tools via Model Context Protocol, allowing users to manage data room activity, browse folders, review Q&A, and monitor deal progress directly within those environments without data leaving the Datasite platform. 

Datasite Assist
Each project includes access to Datasite Assist, a proactive support service providing practical guidance on data room setup, project management, and deal workflow, available continuously and in a broad range of languages.
