ClaimHit

Overview

ClaimHit is an AI-powered patent infringement screening and intelligence platform designed for use by patent owners, IP counsel, and corporate intellectual property teams. It supports preliminary infringement analysis across products and technical standards, covering technology domains including telecom and 5G, semiconductors, software, pharma and biotech, medical devices, automotive, cybersecurity, clean energy, and others.

Key features and functions include:

Multi-Model Consensus Engine ClaimHit runs nine frontier AI models simultaneously and independently — including Claude Sonnet, Claude Haiku, GPT-4o, Gemini 2.0 Flash, DeepSeek, Mistral, and Perplexity Sonar. Each model receives the same patent claims and searches without knowledge of the others' results. Convergence across models is used as a signal of infringement likelihood.

Four-Factor Scoring Methodology Results are evaluated across four independent factors: model consensus, claim element coverage, evidence strength, and functional equivalence. A result is classified as HIGH risk only when all four factors align. Claim element coverage weights inventive steps more heavily than preamble language, and HIGH risk classification requires specific documented evidence for at least three claim elements.

Patent Office Compatibility Users may enter patent numbers from major patent offices including the USPTO, EPO, and WIPO (WO). ClaimHit fetches full claim text automatically from official databases.

Standards Essential Patent (SEP) Analysis ClaimHit supports analysis of standard essential patents, mapping claims directly to specifications from standards bodies including 3GPP, IEEE, ETSI, ITU-T, and IETF. Coverage includes standards such as 5G NR, Wi-Fi 6/7, HEVC, VVC, Bluetooth, and others.

AI Hit Charts For identified targets, ClaimHit generates claim-mapping documents — referred to as Hit Charts — that link each claim element to product features with supporting evidence drawn from datasheets, standards documents, and publications. Hit Charts are generated within approximately 90 seconds.

Expert Review and Legal Opinion Users may order human-led infringement analysis delivered by subject matter experts within 36 hours. An attorney-signed formal written opinion is available for use in licensing negotiations or legal proceedings. No upfront payment is required for expert review orders.

Automated Monitoring Paid scans automatically re-run every six weeks for six months. If new HIGH risk products or standards are identified in subsequent scans, users receive an email alert.

MCP Server Integration ClaimHit is available as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enabling users to access its infringement screening features directly within MCP-compatible AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT without switching applications.

Team Collaboration Organizations may create shared workspaces with a pooled credit system. Search history and results are visible across team members, and billing is centralized under a team account.
