Native Word Field Codes
The tool inserts standard Word TA fields at each citation and TOA fields under the brief's Table of Authorities heading, so the table is built and updated using Word's own field-code system rather than a separately maintained document.

Local Browser Processing
Document parsing and field insertion occur within the browser; the brief is not uploaded to or stored on a server.

Cross-Platform Compatibility
The tool produces the same output on Windows and Mac, including Word for Mac, where the native Mark Citation feature has a documented history of unreliable performance.
