Atlas Fuse
Atlas Fuse is an enterprise AI platform designed to support governed and scalable use of artificial intelligence across law firms and in-house legal teams. The platform focuses on enabling AI systems to access and operate over legal knowledge that is structured, permission-aware, and securely contained within an organization’s existing environment.
Atlas Fuse operates across knowledge management, AI orchestration, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure. It is designed to consolidate fragmented legal content into a unified knowledge foundation that can be used by AI systems while respecting existing security, permissions, and governance controls.
Legal Knowledge Management Foundation
Legal information is typically distributed across multiple systems, including document management platforms, SharePoint sites, Teams workspaces, matter files, email, and internal precedents. Atlas Fuse ingests both structured and unstructured legal content from these sources and harmonizes it into a single, semantically enriched knowledge layer.
The platform applies metadata, taxonomy, and governance rules to support consistency and context. This approach is intended to ensure that AI-generated outputs are based on current, relevant, and authoritative legal materials.
Microsoft 365–Based Security and Containment
Atlas Fuse is designed to operate entirely within a customer’s Microsoft 365 tenant. AI interactions are grounded in curated organizational knowledge, and data is not transferred outside the tenant environment. Existing Microsoft security features, permissions, and access controls are applied throughout the system.
AI functionality can be accessed through Atlas interfaces, integrated into internal AI tools, or surfaced through Microsoft Copilot. Outputs include source citations, traceability to underlying documents, and audit records intended to support professional review and compliance requirements.
Intelligent Knowledge Studio (IKS)
The Intelligent Knowledge Studio provides administrative tools for managing and governing AI usage. Knowledge, IT, and innovation teams can define collections of content from specific repositories, apply filters based on metadata or jurisdiction, and configure AI prompts at a global or collection level.
The system supports role-based access controls, usage monitoring, and configurable limits to manage risk and operational oversight. Prompt configurations can be aligned with internal drafting standards, tone guidelines, and compliance policies.
AI Orchestration Capabilities
Atlas Fuse includes AI orchestration functionality intended to support legal-specific use cases. This includes selecting relevant content, supporting multiple large language models, and providing transparency into model usage. Oversight features are designed to support audit and review requirements.
The platform supports tasks such as summarizing large document sets, responding to legal queries, identifying relevant precedents, and analyzing patterns across matters. These capabilities are positioned as decision-support tools, with users retaining responsibility for legal judgment.
Workflow Integration
Atlas Fuse integrates with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to support use within existing legal workflows. The platform is designed to reduce the need for separate systems and minimize disruption to established working practices.
Supported use cases include legal research, contract review, compliance and policy analysis, RFP and pitch preparation, expertise location, internal knowledge sharing, and matter-related analysis. The system is intended to embed AI-assisted functionality into day-to-day legal work while maintaining governance and security controls.
