Overview

Atlas by Ontra is a centralized, AI-enabled entity management platform designed to support private equity firms and other private market participants in organizing and maintaining accurate entity-related information. It serves as a digital “single source of truth” by consolidating legal documents, organizational data, and structure charts into a unified and continuously updated system, reducing manual tracking and versioning risks across distributed teams.

Key Features and Functions:

AI-Enabled Single Source of Truth: Atlas uses AI to ingest and structure entity data and legal documentation, maintaining a comprehensive and accurate record of entity information across funds, portfolio companies, and jurisdictions. It automates updates and reduces reliance on fragmented spreadsheets or email chains.

Smart Charts: The platform enables the automatic generation and updating of interactive organizational charts. These Smart Charts reflect real-time changes in entity data and ownership structures, helping legal and compliance teams maintain visibility across complex hierarchies.

Governance Information: Atlas tracks key governance details such as board and officer appointments, signatory authorities, and ownership relationships. This information is structured for easy retrieval and analysis, supporting governance workflows and reporting obligations.

Compliance: The system helps manage compliance requirements by tracking jurisdiction-specific filings, deadlines, and documentation. It enables better audit readiness and reduces the risk of missing regulatory obligations across global portfolios.

Customizable Sharing: Atlas supports controlled, role-based access, allowing firms to share specific sets of entity data or documents with internal stakeholders, external counsel, or regulatory bodies. Permissions can be tailored to ensure appropriate access while protecting sensitive information.
