Overview

Assinafy is an electronic signature platform for businesses and developers operating in Brazil, supporting document signing by email or WhatsApp with signatures recognized under Brazilian law.

Key features and functions include:

Document signing and distribution
Contracts and other documents can be sent for electronic signature by email or WhatsApp, with support for unlimited signers and registered users. Senders can track delivery, opening, and signing status for each document, and download the signed file along with a backup copy retained for a period that varies by plan.

Legal validity and digital certificates
Signatures executed through the platform are treated as legally valid in Brazil under Provisional Measure 2.200-2/2001 and Law 14.063/2020. The platform supports signing with ICP-Brasil digital certificates (A1/A3) in addition to standard electronic signatures, and signed documents can be independently verified through a public hash-based verification tool.

Templates and branding
Reusable document templates and customizable branding, including a company logo and colors, are available on certain paid plans.

Developer API and integrations
A REST API is included on every plan, including the free tier. Official SDKs are published for TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, and Rust, along with mobile SDKs for Android and iOS. Additional tools include a command-line interface, a WordPress plugin, a LibreOffice extension, and pre-built integrations for n8n, Zapier, Make, Activepieces, HubSpot, and Twenty CRM.

AI assistant integration
An MCP server is available, allowing AI assistants such as Claude and Cursor to prepare, send, and track documents for signature through natural-language interactions.
