Apilex is an AI legal platform built by legal professionals that consolidates case law research, legislative review, document drafting, and matter management into a single workspace.
Assistant
The Assistant allows users to query Apilex in natural language, with or without uploading documents. Responses are grounded in legal sources (case law, legislation, and doctrine) and delivered with cited references. The Assistant handles a broad range of tasks including document drafting, contract and petition analysis, risk identification, and legislative review. An Agent mode is available for deeper research and more complex multi-step document generation workflows. Integrations include Microsoft Word and Google Drive, allowing users to work directly within their existing document environments.
Semantic Case Law Search
The search engine analyzes queries by meaning rather than keywords, ranking results by semantic relevance, topical relationship, and recency. Users can filter by court type, chamber, subject, and date range, access full-text decisions instantly, and export in PDF, Word, or plain text formats. Decisions can be saved to personal folders and carried directly into the Assistant for further analysis.
Document Drafting & Editor
The document editor enables users to generate petitions, contracts, notices, and other legal documents from scratch using AI, or upload existing documents for analysis and improvement. AI identifies risky clauses, flags gaps, and suggests improvements. Users can add inline comments, query selected text contextually within the editor, and export in multiple formats.
Projects
Cases, decisions, and documents are organized through a project-based folder system with advanced search across file names, document content, and tags. Documents within a project can be used as context for research and analysis directly within the Assistant.
Security
Customer data is not used for model training. The platform includes SAML SSO, audit logs, and data lifecycle management as standard enterprise controls, and is independently audited by third-party security firms. Apilex operates under a full GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement, with Standard Contractual Clauses in place for any third-country access.
