Litigation Management/ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Alternative Dispute Resolution

Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) solutions support the resolution of legal disputes outside traditional court litigation, primarily through mediation, arbitration, and negotiation. These platforms provide case management built around the ADR process, including scheduling and coordination with neutrals, secure exchange of case materials, and virtual hearing capabilities that let disputes proceed entirely online. Some tools extend into online dispute resolution (ODR), using structured or double-blind negotiation to help parties reach pre-suit settlements, an approach especially common among insurance adjusters and litigation attorneys handling high-volume or lower-value claims. Other platforms focus on virtual arbitration and mediation with flat-fee pricing and vetted neutral panels. Generative AI is increasingly used to summarize claims, evidence, and case positions, generate case narratives and timelines, and draft proposed awards or suggested settlement ranges for a human arbitrator or mediator to review and finalize, keeping ultimate decision-making authority with people rather than the AI.
