Circle-up automation software helps underwriters' counsel prepare the "circle-up" that supports an auditor's comfort letter before a debt or equity offering closes. Attorneys are then guided through each flagged figure in a structured review workflow, filtering by number type, document section, or verification status, and tracking which figures have been checked and against which source document. Many platforms support commenting and collaboration so a team can work through a filing together and maintain a record of who confirmed what. This reduces the risk of a number being missed ahead of signing and compresses a labor intensive, time pressured task into a faster, more auditable process. Generative AI and related recognition technology power the extraction and classification of numbers across both narrative text and tabular data, reducing manual transcription. Because this is a narrow, specialized category, only a small number of providers currently serve it, and some solutions are still in early beta stages.
