The dynamic between law firms and legal technology vendors can sometimes be fraught. Although law firms are themselves in the business of selling services, they have historically had a tendency to regard sales people and sales tactics with distaste. Vendors have been perceived as representing both. 

This perspective is outdated and old-fashioned. When it comes to implementing technology, it’s also problematic.
