Clio is a cloud-based legal practice management company which designs tools intended to cover every aspect of the client journey from intake to invoice. Clio set out to improve law firm business practices by bringing intake, case management, document management, billing, time tracking, and trust accounting into a unified, accessible platform for lawyers. Over time, Clio has expanded their services to lawyers with the launch of new products, such as Clio Payments in 2021, and acquisition of products and companies, such as the CRM Clio Grow acquired with the company Lexicata in 2018, and vLex in 2025.
