Overview

We are a team of former in-house lawyers and specialise in (1) the review and negotiation of commercial contracts, and (2) undertaking multi-country projects where we source, engage and project manage local counsel. This enables in-house legal teams to focus on what’s most important to them, such as strategic work. 

 

For contract reviews, we specialise in SaaS contracts, marketing affiliate agreement, sales contracts, and procurement contracts. In-house legal teams can either outsource an entire contract type to us, or simply use us as an overflow solution for when times are busy.

 

In terms of minimum volumes, you can get started with just 3 contracts per month. However, Lexoo also accommodates a fully ‘ad hoc’ setup for the first three months, so that you can give it a go before committing to any volume. 

 

You can increase or decrease committed contract volumes on a quarterly basis. 

 

We negotiate the contracts like you would. We use a detailed playbook (including fallback positions) from the start.

    For contract reviews, we use a quick 3-stage onboarding process: (1) We analyse our client’s past negotiations, and layer those positions and fallbacks on our “battle-tested” playbook. (2) We review and approve the playbook with our client before starting work. (3) We then iterate and adjust the playbook over time to remove bottlenecks or to take on board any changes on your end. This approach also enables us to start work in days (not weeks). For multi-country projects, we work with our clients to understand their key objectives, and using these insights, design a fixed project scope. This process ensures we deliver legal work that aligns with your stated objectives (including what you need to ‘do’ with the work internally). You can just hit ‘forward’ internally, without needing to first ‘translate’ it. We only use expert local counsel we know and trust. By leveraging our team of in-house lawyers and project managers, we can drive and control the entire project from start to finish. Ensuring there are no surprises. We offer straightforward fixed fees (and stick to them). It’s multi-country legal work, managed. Clients can cancel their agreement with Lexoo every quarter. In terms of turnaround time, we commit to a max 2 business days for all commercial contract reviews. For multi-country projects, the length of engagement varies depending on the scope and complexity of the project with the average engagement lasting 1-3 months. Number of dedicated resources depends on the contract volume. Minimum of 2 team members dedicated to a client (part-time).
