Lexbe eDiscovery and Digital Forensics Services
Cloud-Based eDiscovery Platform
Lexbe provides a cloud-based, end-to-end eDiscovery platform designed to support legal teams managing complex, document-intensive matters. Hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), the platform allows law firms and legal departments to perform data ingestion, processing, review, analysis, and production within a single environment. It is particularly suited for small to mid-sized firms handling large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI) without the need for on-premises infrastructure or third-party service providers.
High-Speed Processing and Data Reduction
Lexbe’s platform is capable of processing over one million documents per hour and supports a wide range of file types. It includes built-in workflows for deduplication, metadata extraction, OCR, Bates numbering, and load file creation. The platform enables early case assessment through filtering tools such as keyword search, date range limits, and email threading to reduce data volumes prior to review. Privileged documents can also be flagged and segregated to support confidentiality and privilege protection.
Document Review and Production
The platform includes tools for full-text and metadata-based search, coding, tagging, redaction, privilege logging, and customizable review sets. Lexbe’s proprietary indexing engine is designed for fast search performance even across large datasets. Productions can be created in multiple formats to meet client, court, or opposing counsel requirements, with automated quality control and production logs.
AI-Enhanced Workflows with Lexbe CoPilot
Lexbe integrates generative AI capabilities through its CoPilot feature, which uses large language models to assist with summarization, translation, acronym definition, PII/PHI identification, and insight generation. CoPilot supports privilege and responsiveness review by providing suggested categorizations along with rationale and confidence scores. Legal teams can also use CoPilot to automate the creation of timelines, extract entities, identify relationships, and generate search queries to aid investigation and case development.
Digital Forensics Services
Lexbe offers a full range of digital forensics services, including forensic imaging, data recovery, and expert analysis. These services cover a broad array of data sources such as computers (Windows, macOS, Linux), smartphones and tablets, cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), messaging platforms, social media accounts, external storage devices, GPS logs, and IoT devices.
Certified forensic examiners use industry-standard tools (e.g., Cellebrite, EnCase, Magnet Axiom) to collect, preserve, and analyze data while maintaining chain-of-custody documentation. Services include recovery of deleted files, extraction of browser and system activity, keyword searching, and timeline reconstruction. Remote collection is also available for custodians who cannot physically surrender devices.
Integration Between Forensics and eDiscovery
Collected forensic data can be ingested directly into the Lexbe platform, enabling seamless transition from data acquisition to review and production. This integration supports early case insights, defensible workflows, and streamlined litigation support.
